Rocky Top Resources

So I already felt like I was making out like a bandit, taking full size truck loads of branches, trees.... just spring clean up stuff..... to disposal for $10 on Saturdays...... and then I found out the fuel gauge in my borrowed truck was broken and I was out of gas...... These guys at Rocky Top came to the rescue.... probably put in more fuel than the gallon I needed.... and wouldn't let me pay them!!! Crazy level of customer service. I really appreciated their help, and their prices are awesome.

Great prices compared to other supply stores for soil and rock. Had to do at least 7 deliveries in the past two months and every driver was an A+. You can tell they really prioritize customer service. Plus making orders over the phone was simple and they give a lot of options for delivery time. My neighbor really likes them so I gave it a shot after seeing the price comparisons. Worked out better than I expected.

Great place to get topsoil for your lawn or garden. Parking was clearly marked. There are samples of everything you might be looking for inside the building. I knew what I wanted for my lawn, so immediately went to the counter and paid. Received the receipt and was escorted outside to be shown where I needed drive to and park. The person driving the loader pulled up, asked what I needed and to see my receipt. He scooped up the soil and dump it into the back of my pickup. He dumped the soil and honked to let me know I was good to go. Their entire process of selecting, paying, and receiving is simple and streamlined. Staff were polite, friendly and professional. I would recommend their topsoil over any box store’s because their topsoil is about half the price and there’s no wondering if the bags you paid for contain actual topsoil or just a little bit of soil with lots of wood chips and rocks. Will continue to be a repeat customer.

Always have a great experience here. Good prices and highly recommend the organic mulch. It's a good consistency and doesn't fly away in the dry, windy season. Make sure you check as some is pallet mulch. Overall the pallet mulch has worn in pretty well over a year but expect to pick out some nails, plastic, and blue-painted wood. I have both in my backyard but would go all organic if I could do it again.
